on A graph-theoretical look at the structure of folded polymers

I will discuss few results that follow from the graph representations of the structure of folded polymers. For example, how the size of a typical protein can be estimated by counting graphs and how many 'pseudoknots' one expects in a compact polymer. I will give (to my knowledge) the unique example of a "scale-free" network that is born out of a phase transition, with a clear connection between the critical behavior of the underlying system and the "scale-freeness" of the network.
