How to separate charm and beauty at ALICE and the relation to Quark Gluon Plasma

Abstract:The Quark Gluon Plasma is a state of matter, which existed until the first microseconds after the Big Bang and is recreated under experimental conditions at LHC at CERN. ALICE is especially designed among the other LHC experiments for researching the mentioned state of matter. In this presentation, after giving a general introduction, the investigation of the Quark Gluon Plasma, employing heavy quarks is treated.
