Gravi-Natural Higgs Boson

Abstract:The experiments at CERN and Fermilab have reported signals of a spinless neutral particle which might be interpreted as the Higgs boson. The signal is consistent with the Standard Model of particle physics. The Standard Model, however, suffers from the perplexing naturalness problem that the Higgs boson mass is unstable under quantum corrections. We address this problem within the presently emerging setup of Standard Model plus General Relativity, and show that there can exist conformally-related gravitational frames in which quantum corrections to Higgs sector might be rendered natural.
